How do I save a screenshot?
On iPhone and iPad, open the screenshot’s Share Sheet and choose ShotMark. Add a note while the reason is fresh, then save. You can also choose images from Capture inside ShotMark.
On Mac, import images or drag them into ShotMark. Folder watching can help you bring in new screenshots from a folder you choose.
Can I keep several screenshots together?
Yes. A card can hold more than one screenshot. Add notes for the shared context, and use free Collections to keep related cards together. ShotMark Pro adds Projects for grouping Collections and individual screenshots around a larger task.
What is included in Free and Pro?
Free includes local screenshot organization, notes, Collections, search in titles and notes, and exports with a watermark. iPhone and iPad can save up to 12 cards, including archived cards. The free Mac app has no saved-card limit.
Pro adds Projects, search inside screenshot text, optional iCloud sync, and exports without a watermark. On iPhone and iPad, Pro also unlocks unlimited saved cards. See the side-by-side comparison.
Pro is a one-time purchase. Choose iPhone & iPad Pro, Mac Pro, or All Platforms Pro in the app. The purchase screen shows current platform coverage, available offers, and your App Store’s price.
How do I restore my Pro purchase?
Make sure the App Store is using the Apple Account that made the purchase. Open ShotMark’s settings and choose Restore Purchases. Restoring an existing eligible purchase does not charge you again.
Purchases can have different platform coverage, so check that the original purchase applies to the app you are using. If Pro still does not appear, email us with the platform, app version, purchase date, and what happened when you tried restoring. Please do not send payment details or your Apple Account password.
Why are my cards not appearing on another device?
iCloud sync is optional and requires Pro on the devices you want to sync. Check that both devices use the same iCloud account, iCloud Drive is enabled, and ShotMark’s iCloud sync option is on. Make sure the devices are online and your iCloud storage has space.
Allow time for the first sync, especially for a larger library. If something still looks wrong, keep the original cards in place and contact support with the devices involved and any message shown in the app.
Can ShotMark read text in screenshots?
ShotMark uses Apple’s on-device text recognition. Pro lets you search inside screenshot text across your library. Recognition can vary with the language, image quality, and how text appears in the screenshot.
Do I need a ShotMark account?
No separate ShotMark account is needed. You can use your library locally. If you turn on optional iCloud sync, it uses your Apple account.
Who handles billing and refunds?
Apple handles App Store payments, billing records, and refund requests. You can review purchases and request help at Apple’s Report a Problem. For a purchase that is missing inside ShotMark, try Restore Purchases first or contact us.
